What is Polyamide?
Nylon (PA 6 and PA 12) or Polyamide is an engineered thermoplastic which is used in tubing primarily because of its light weight and high strength even with minimum wall thickness. While PA 6 is a more rigid and economical material, PA 12 is more flexible and does not crack more often. Due to high heat bearing properties of up to 130 degree Celsius it is used widely in Automotive as well as fire fighting applications.

Wayhose Polyamide 6 (PA6) Tubes, also known as Nylon 6 Tubes are manufactured out of Virgin Polyamide granules, certified for heat and light stability. The tubes are modified further to remain crack free over a long time.
Nylon is specifically known for for its light weight and high strength properties which make it suitable for high pressure Industrial and Automotive applications. Therefore the tubes made are highly resistant to abrasion & wear even when subjected to pulsating air pressure in air brake systems.
